The Role

This is a full-time role for a bookkeeper with public practice experience. You will manage end-to-end bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations; prepare and lodge BAS and IAS; assist clients with payroll compliance (STP, superannuation, payroll tax, WorkCover); and support quarterly management reporting. You’ll also help clients get the most out of Xero and cloud systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
  • Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS.
  • Assisting clients with payroll compliance (STP, superannuation, payroll tax, WorkCover).
  • Supporting the delivery of quarterly management reporting.
  • Helping clients get the most out of Xero and cloud-based systems.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year bookkeeping experience in a public practice environment.

  • Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting (or higher).

  • Strong working knowledge of Xero.

  • Professional client manner, ability to manage multiple relationships, and a stable employment history.
